About the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular + GPS

If you are using the older series of the Apple watch, there are reasons to upgrade to the Series 3 models. Let's get into more details.

Simple design

The Watch Series 3 Cellular + GPS comes with an aluminium case and is also available with a stainless steel casing. The watch features an OLED Retina display at 1000 nits. Apple claims it to be two times brighter than the Watch Series 1.

Faster processor

The Series 3 Cellular + GPS is equipped with the latest dual core S3 processor. Apple claims it to be 70 percent faster than the older versions. Besides this, there’s a W2 wireless chip that adds to the Watch’s powerful performance. It is known to be power-efficient, while offering 85 percent faster performance on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

GPS and Cellular connectivity

This flagship Apple Watch Series 3 comes with built-in LTE support. There’s an e-SIM already integrated into the device, which will be mapped with your existing Jio (or other supported providers). With this you’ll be able to manage calls and receive texts or reply to messages, even if your iPhone isn’t around.

Apple always strives to make something innovative. You get to see it in the Watch Series 3 as well. Apple has built an antenna into the watch instead of adding it separately. This means the display of the watch works as a cellular antenna to receive and transmit LTE signals.

More storage space

Compared to the older versions that had only 8 GB of storage, the Watch Series 3 is equipped with 16 GB. This means, you can have a whole bunch of apps and data saved on your watch. There is also a large community of developers building 3rd party apps just for the Apple Watch.

Different size variants

The Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular + GPS variant is available in two different sizes. The 38mm watch is priced at Rs. 39,080*, while the 42mm variant is priced at Rs. 42,120*. This watch is available in different colour variants such as gold, silver or space grey aluminium and silver or space black stainless steel.

Music streaming

The Series 3 introduces watchOS 4, which will help you stream over 45 million songs over Apple Music directly. Your watch can automatically sync playlists like New Music Mix and Favourites Mix directly from your iPhone. If you’re other u

All-day assistant - Siri

The Apple Watch Series 3 is powered with Siri for the first time. Like phones, it will display all the information that you ask or perform different tasks. You can text your friend, send reminders, collaborate invitations, besides doing a lot more.

Detailed heart rate monitoring

Like we said earlier, the Watch Series 3 will now give you more detailed insights over your recorded heart rates. This includes the heart rate while you sleep, work out, walk, etc. The most interesting bit is that you can set notifications if your heart rate is elevated to a higher level than normal.

However, the major highlight of the Apple Watch Series 3 is the ability to manage calls. In the same manner the Apple Watch Nike+ trends, Apple’s partnership continues with the newer Watch Series 3 Cellular + GPS version. The watch is bundled with a Nike Sports Band and Sports Loop. This model is priced at Rs. 39,130*. To check out all the details on the Apple Watch Series 3, do not forget to check Jio’s new offer “JioEverywhereConnect”.
