Truly wireless earbuds make life easy, getting rid of the hassle of fidgeting with entangled cables. Just plug in the earphones into the ears, and you are good to go. Several brands have attempted to offer inexpensive truly wireless earbuds over the years. However, cheap wireless earbuds tend to have poor audio quality, and some models can also have terrible battery life. Realme is a prominent smartphone brand and they have also started offering truly wireless earbuds as part of their portfolio. Models such as the Realme Buds Air, and Buds Air Neo are known for their sound quality, and the brand is now expanding its audio lineup with the Realme Buds Air Pro. These are Realme’s first truly wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation. They use an all-new design, and Realme claims they can easily take on the competition.

The Realme Buds Air Pro look nothing like affordable earphones. They have a glossy finish, and they use a cobble-shaped design that gives them a sleek and premium look. The earphones are also some of the lightest in its class, weighing just 5 grams each. This ensures you can wear them comfortably through long music hearing sessions. The earphone ships with multiple ear tips, so you can find the perfect fit for your ears. The buds are also IPX4 rated, which means you can even wear them during workouts. The earbuds are available in two shades – Rock Black and Soul White.

The Realme Buds Air Pro come with built-in touch controls. You can double-tap the earbuds to play or pause music, or tapping the buds thrice plays the next track. Pressing and holding the touch button brings up the voice assistant on your smartphone.

Even the case for the Realme Buds Air Pro is cleverly designed. It looks like a small pebble, and its curvy edges ensure the case comfortably fits into your pocket. The pebble-shaped case has a dedicated button for pairing, and it also comes with a LED that indicates battery status. It houses a 486 mAh battery despite its sleek design, and Realme claims the earbuds can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life. The earbuds also support fast charging, and just 10 minutes of charge can deliver up to 3 hours of listening time.

The Realme Buds Air Pro promises superior sound quality with its 10mm bass boost drivers. These are the first truly wireless earbuds in its class to use 10mm drivers, and Realme claims they are neatly tuned for delivering natural-sounding audio. The earbuds also promise impressive bass with Realme’s new Dynamic Bass Boost algorithm. Realme claims the buds perfectly balances audio quality and bass to improve the overall music listening experience.

The earbuds use Realme’s S1 processor, that was previously seen on models such as the Realme Buds Air Neo. The processor now supports Active Noise Cancellation, and the earbuds use two external microphones for eliminating the background noise. The earbuds feature a Transparency Mode that lets you hear the ambient noise through microphones, so you can talk with people around you without taking off the earbuds. Lots of truly wireless earbuds often struggle with call quality, but this might rarely happen with the Realme Buds Air Pro. Realme says, the earbuds use an ENC noise-cancelling algorithm that reduces background noise during calls, ensuring person on the other end hears you clearly.

Most settings and modes on the Realme Buds Air Pro can be accessed through the Realme Link app. The app has a Volume Enhance feature for an extra loud volume output, and there is also a Bass Boost+ feature that promises to bring more dynamic bass. Realme has also introduced a new Game Mode, that brings down the earphone’s latency down to just 94ms for enhancing the gaming experience. This can make a lot of difference when playing competitive games, and also while watching movies.

The Realme Link app lets you quickly switch between Noise Cancellation, Transparency and General mode. The app also lets you see the battery status of the case as well as the earbuds. You can also use the app to customise the earbud’s touch controls. Realme is also going to push frequent OS updates through the app to introduce new features and improve the overall music listening experience.

The Realme Buds Air Pro comes with Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable wireless connection. The earphones support AAC, SBC audio codecs, and they can offer up to 10-meter range in an obstacle-free environment. The earbuds also support Google Fast Pair feature to simplify the pairing process. This feature also lets you locate your earphones by ringing them.

The Realme Buds Air Pro are some of the most affordable truly wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation. These earbuds use high-tier drivers for superior sound quality, and their sleek design promises extreme comfort.
