The coronavirus outbreak has impacted everything. Many non-essential businesses such as gyms, fitness clubs and even parks are closed. For a fitness buff, staying at home and staying fit becomes difficult. There are very few personal trainers and gym instructors offering virtual trainings, but not everyone has access to it.

Switching to home-workout trainings and following a routine isn’t easy either. Fortunately, there are many ways to stay fit and your smartphone can help you find those, without leaving your house.

The easiest way to start your workout routine is to grab your smartphone and find some instructor-led videos on YouTube. Most of these pre-recorded videos include Yoga, Zumba, cardio and full-body workouts, which are typically between 30 to 50 minutes in length and doesn’t require equipment. While you browse through YouTube, you will come across some channels offering live videos too. Some of these videos are free while others need you to to subscribe to a membership. Here is a list of popular YouTube channels you should check out.

Also, Amazon Prime Video has an interesting documentary on Yogas, called ‘Yogacity’ that teaches you how to build a good physique, while staying at home.

Another effective way to start exercising at home is by using fitness apps. There are plenty of apps that offer structured diet plans, workout meters and that even monitor your fitness goals.
