The OnePlus brand has come a long way. It started with offering phones with cutting-edge hardware, on to mid-priced devices and ones with upper-tier features. The OnePlus 10 Pro series was recently launched and value-focus variant, the OnePlus 10 T 5G has just arrived. OnePlus’ T-branded devices have always brought in more excitement. The 10T is no different, shipping with the same power, cameras and all the bells-and-whistles of Pro devices, but at a much more accessible price.

The OnePlus 10 T looks identical to the expensive 10 Pro sibling. The camera module blends more seamlessly with the back panel and now uses Gorilla Glass 5 for more sturdiness. OnePlus has also shifted the flash from the bottom right to the top to give the device a more balanced look.

OnePlus has introduced the 10T in two new shades. The Moonstone Black variant has a stone-like rough texture, much like older OnePlus Sandstone-finished devices. Its rough texture helps to keep fingerprints and smudges away. The second shade is Jade Green colour, which has a bright ceramic-like finish due to its special film. If you love a glossy finish, this is the shade you should opt for.

The phone features a 6.7-inch full HD AMOLED display. Unlike the Pro model, this one has a flat-screen which makes it easier to install screen protectors. A flat screen also reduces chances of accidental touches. The screen supports 10-bit colours for an immersive content-binging experience. There is also support for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG content. If you watch movies and shows on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix, this phone can be the ideal choice. OnePlus also claims the display offers excellent outdoor visibility and wide viewing angles.

The OnePlus 10T also won’t disappoint gamers. Its 120Hz refreshing screen delivers a smooth gaming experience. As the display supports the Adaptive Sync feature, it automatically drops down the refresh rate to 90 Hz or 60 Hz depending on the content. This helps to improve the battery life of the device. The display features Gorilla Glass 5 which should prevent scratches and provide protection from accidental falls. The screen bezels are also thin and uniform. The screen houses an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device. The display also supports the Always on feature, so you can quickly go through notifications at a glance.

The OnePlus 10T makes no compromises on the performance front. It houses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that ensures top-notch performance, allowing you to play games like Call of Duty: Mobile, Fortnite, Apex Legends Mobile and Minecraft smoothly. The base variant of the device comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS3.1 storage. The top-tier variant has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is a dual-SIM 5G device supporting Wi-Fi 6 and the latest generation Bluetooth 5.3 standard.

The phone also houses an all-new OnePlus Cryo-Velocity Vapor Cooling System. OnePlus says this system has a larger cooling area and comes with a redesigned heat dissipation channel for better thermal performance. It significantly lowers the phone’s temperature and ensures you get a smooth, consistent performance during your gaming sessions. The phone runs on OxygenOS 12.1 on top of Android 12. The latest update brings new Light and Space visual design elements. A new OnePlus Scout feature has also been introduced that serves as a one-stop search bar for documents, contacts, music tracks, and web entries.

The camera system on the OnePlus 10T is also robust. It houses three cameras, consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 2 MP macro camera. The main camera offers an f/1.8 aperture and supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). It can record 4K videos up to 60 fps. The secondary camera has a 119-degree field of view for landscape photography. The phone also has a 16 MP front camera offering a wide-angle view.

Battery performance is also a solid plus point of the all-new OnePlus 10T. The phone has a dual-cell 4,800 mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. OnePlus claims the phone can charge from 1 to 67 per cent in 10 minutes, which is way faster than its nearest competition. OnePlus has implemented a Dual Charge feature that splits for efficient and safe fast charging. OnePlus says the battery will retain 80 per cent of its original capacity after 1600 charge cycles, which it says is equivalent to four years of usage.

The OnePlus 10T is perfectly positioned between the entry-level OnePlus 10R and the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro. It houses the best-in-class processor, cameras and offers a battery charging performance like no other flagship device. Its premium design clubbed with all the latest connectivity standards makes it a winner in its segment. Prices for the base variant of the OnePlus 10T start from Rs. 49,999*, and the device is now available at Reliance Digital stores.
