Acer offers a wide selection of laptops, ranging from sleek ultra-portables to beefy gaming machines. Acer’s Swift laptops tend to offer performance at affordable prices. The Swift 3 SF313-53 is one of the models that sports the latest Intel Tiger Lake CPUs and it comes with a resolution not often seen on laptops.

The Acer Swift 3 SF313-53 is one of the first laptops in the country to sport an Intel 11th generation processor. This means the laptop can run slightly older AAA gaming titles such as GTA V, Rage 2, and even FIFA 19 at medium graphics settings. The laptop comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM that will let you have multiple apps run side-by-side, and multitask seamlessly. It also houses a 512GB of M.2 NVMe SSD that results in quick bootups and it also delivers faster read and write speeds than traditional SSDs.

The Acer Swift 3 SF313-53 is also one of the few mid-range laptops to run a 3:2 aspect ratio display. The taller aspect ratio makes it possible to fit more screen vertically, giving more room to view content. This means you can view articles, books, spreadsheets and documents without too much scrolling. A taller screen will also make multitasking easier, as you can place apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint side-by-side, and vertically to improve your workflow.

Even content creators will appreciate Acer Swift 3’s 3:2 screen aspect ratio. They can have multiple tracks and videos on their timeline without having to hide the taskbar or resize their preview window. The laptop’s tall screen is also very suitable for using image editing and 3D modelling tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Autodesk AutoCAD. The Acer Swift 3’s 13.5-inch full HD display runs a screen resolution of 2256 x 1504. The display uses an IPS LED panel that that offers wide viewing angles and accurate colours. The screen also supports Acer’s Colour Intelligence feature, that dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time, optimizing screen colour, brightness and saturation.

The Acer Swift 3 SF313-53 is designed for everyday use, and it comes with a simple and neat looking design. The laptop has a unibody magnesium-alloy construction, making it one of the lightest and sturdiest laptop in its class. This means you can easily carry it around without worrying too much about bumps and scratches. The laptop is available in Silver Matte colour, and its lighter-colour scheme also helps to hide fingerprints. The laptop’s strong hinge ensures the display doesn’t wobble and it also lets you lean the screen up to 180 degrees. Acer has also updated the thermals on the SF313-53 by adding dual heat pipes to keep the device’s temperature in control under load. The laptop also houses a dedicated fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.

The Acer Swift 3’s full-size backlit keyboard is designed to make typing easy. The keys provide 1.8mm of key travel, and the large keyboard bay lets you comfortably rest your palms during long working hours. The laptop’s trackpad is also spacious, which means you can effortlessly scroll through large spreadsheets and webpages. It also supports Windows 10 gestures, which means you can swipe with three fingers either left or right to switch between apps and tap the touchpad with three fingers to open Cortona.

There is also no shortage of connectivity ports on the Acer Swift 3. The laptops’ two Thunderbolt 4 ports can be used for ultra-fast data transfer, for charging the device, and it even lets you connect two 4K and an 8K external monitor. It also has an HDMI port for connecting a projector and a 3.5mm auxiliary jack for headphones. The laptop’s Wi-Fi 6 enhances wireless security, and it also reduces network congestions. You can also use the laptop’s Bluetooth 5.1 feature to pair a wireless mouse, keyboard and wireless headphones.

There is a 56Wh battery inside the Acer Swift 3 SF313-53 that promises up to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge. The laptop’s 65W charger supports fast charging, and Acer claims, 30 minutes of charge-time provides up to 4 hours of battery.
