The Buds Air are their first, truly wireless offerings, priced under Rs. 4,000*. Realme now continues to expand their series of truly wireless earphones by launching the Buds Q and the Buds Air Neo. They boast of intelligent touch controls, and long battery life.

Realme Buds Q

The Realme Buds Q are designed by world famous, French artist, Jose Levy, best known for the ‘Jose Levy Paris’ label. Realme claims the Buds Q are lighter than a sheet of A4 paper. Each bud weighs 3.6g, while the charging case weighs 28.2g. The Buds Q should feel light in your pockets and in your ears. The unique curved shape of the Buds Q offer firmness and help isolate background noise. The earbuds are packed inside a cobble-design charging case, inspired by the design of round cobblestones. The arc-shaped lid closes shut with its built-in waterdrop magnet. The action is firm, and it’s also easy to open. The Buds Q have a premium frosted texture surface with a spark pattern, giving it a premium look. The Realme Buds Q are priced at Rs. 1,999*, and are available in three colours – Quite Yellow, Quite White, and Quite Black.

The Buds Q have intelligent touch controls that lets you play-pause music, and answer or decline calls. The Buds Q features a low-latency game mode, which can be toggled by tapping the earbuds. Realme claims it is useful while playing games and it’s meant to reduce the lag between visuals and audio. The Buds Q are IPX4-certified, which means they are sweat and water resistant. This makes the Buds Q a perfect companion for workouts and outdoor activities. Despite their size, the Realme Buds Q have impressive battery life, offering 20-hours of playback on a single charge. The Buds Q can be charged using a Micro-USB cable.

The Realme Buds Q can deliver an incredible sound experience. They feature 10mm dynamic bass boost drivers to produce powerful sound, and clear vocals. There is Bluetooth 5.0 to connect the Buds Q with the smartphone wirelessly. Realme Buds Air Neo

The Air Neo design are identical to AirPods and fit comfortably in your ears. The compact charging case holds the earbuds securely when not in use. It has a micro-USB port at the back for charging. A small LED at the front indicates the battery level and the device pairing status. The Air Neo are 0.1g lighter than the old Realme Buds Air with a single bud weighing just 4.1g. The Air Neo are water-resistant and comes equipped with a large 13mm dynamic bass boost driver to produce sound. It lacks some of the useful features of the popular Buds Air, including wireless charging support, a USB Type-C port, and a proximity sensor.

The Air Neo uses a new R1 audio chipset. Its dual-channel transmission technology helps create a fast and stable connection between the earbuds and the phone. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity. Realme claims the earbuds instantly connect to your phone, the moment you open the case. The intelligent touch controls let you answer or end calls, control music, and activate your phone’s voice assistant. All these functions can also be customized with the Realme Link App on your smartphone. You can simply touch the Air Neo for two seconds to activate the voice assistant and ask questions, check weather updates, and find your favourite music. The Air Neo can also be switched to a low latency mode, which cuts latency down to 51 per cent while playing games.

The Air Neo have built-in batteries that last for 3 hours of continuous music playback, and with the charging case, it can extend up to 17 hours. Also, the Air Neo comes with an IPX4 rating, which makes them water and sweat resistant. The Realme Air Neo are priced at Rs. 2,999* and are available in three colours. The Pop White colour is for those who prefer a minimalistic look, whereas the Punk Green and the Rock Red are those who prefer bold colours.
