Buying a large-screen TV has become affordable these days. There are options between Rs. 30,000 to 40,000, with full HD, even 4K resolution panels. However, buying a QLED TV in this range was unimaginable, until the launch of the TCL C725. TCL is not a new-comer anymore. Their presence in the Indian market for a while and is known for its value-for-money offerings.

The C725 raises the bar even higher. It offers QLED TV technology at Rs. 34,990*, making it the most affordable QLED TV out there. QLED or Quantum Light-Emitting Diode TVs are known for their accurate picture quality. Such TVs have precise backlighting control resulting in better colour rendition and higher brightness levels, that doesn’t affect the colour saturation of the content. But where most QLED models are well-above Rs. 50,000, how can the C725 be so affordable?

The TCL C725 is a 50-inch TV offering a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160. Its QLED panel makes a big difference when it comes to picture quality. The “Q” in the QLED stands for quantum dots, which is a layer of nanoparticles placed over the LED backlighting setup. When hit with light, this layer renders a wider range of colours, better contrast and picture quality that is way brighter than traditional LED TVs. The C725 is a 55-inch screen, the ideal size for a larger-sized room.

It also ships with a VESA mount in case you want to wall mount it. TCL has also kept the rear slim and tidy. Most of the ports are placed on the sides of the device for easy access. Like most TVs, this one also gets clamps for clean wire management.

This USB port comes in handy while connecting the included plug-and-play web camera. The camera has built-in microphones and a shutter for privacy. TCL says it delivers excellent picture quality and can pick up voices clearly, even from a distance. The camera works with Google Duo, so you can video chat with your closest friends, family, and even teammates on a bigger screen.
