Truly Wireless Earphones’ no-wire designs offer the user the flexibility to move around while listening to music. Their compact form factor makes them perfect for casual music hearing sessions, but they might not be the best for active earbud wearers. The risk of losing an earbud while exercising, cycling and running are always present. A few TWS earphones promise a secure fit, but they are often, big and cost a lot. Jabra solves this. The Elite Active 75T have a subtle design, and they are crafted for fitness-orientated users. The earphones have premium features, yet they are affordable.

The Jabra Elite Active 75T are some of the lightest and sleekest truly wireless earbuds. They weigh just 5.5 grams, and the new design makes them 22 per cent smaller than the previous Jabra Elite Active 65T. The earbuds shouldn’t be a burden on your ears during long music listening sessions. Jabra says the earbuds size help give a comfortable fit for every ear size. They also ship with three pairs of silicon EarGels designed for a personalised fit.

The Elite Active 75T have a soft rubberised coating that helps them stay snug and secure in the wearer’s ears. The earbuds are rated IP57, making them dust and water-resistant. Even the charging case is made of a rubberised material that provides grip even when your hands are sweaty. The earbuds also come with in-built magnets allowing you to link the buds together, so they don’t roll off flat surfaces easily. There is a choice of three different finishes – Titanium Black, Black, and Gold Beige.

The Elite Active 75T has in-built touch controls. You can use the left earbuds to enable or disable the HearThrough mode, forward tracks, and lower the volume. The right earbuds let you play/pause music, and adjust the volume. Controlling the earbuds is also possible using voice commands. The earphones are compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, letting you control your music hands-free. Jabra says the earbuds also use the beamform technology around the microphone array, so your instructions are understood as clearly as your voice calls.

The Jabra Elite Active 75T come with 6mm drivers. Jabra claims these drivers can render natural-sounding audio and punchy bass. The Elite Active 75T have a pressure relief vent on each earbud designed to regulate in-ear pressure generated by lower frequencies. The earphones also support premium Active Noise Cancellation. They use 4-microphone array to suppress the background noise that makes listening to music and podcasts distraction-free. Jabra says, the Active Noise Cancellation also works great during voice and video calls.

The earphones also support Jabra’s HearThrough feature that lets you hear sounds around you without removing the earphones. This can be a great solution for outdoor runners or cyclists who want to be careful about their surrounding during workouts.

The Elite Active 75T works with Jabra’s Sound+ control app which lets you fine-tune your music listening experience. The app’s in-built equaliser allows for adjusting bass, mids and treble to your liking. It even features a hearing test to try and establish an EQ profile that suits your liking. The app also has a handful of music presets tuned for specific music genres. It also lets you fiddle with the level of Active Noise Cancellation so you can decide the amount of ambient sound you want to hear.

Jabra keeps pushing software updates using the app to enhance the listener’s music experience. The recent software introduced two new features – MyControl and MySound. The former lets you customise controls on both the earbuds and the latter uses adaptive sound technology to create a sound profile that’s personalised to your hearing. The brand also introduced the Soundscapes feature, which has 12 unique settings that produce soothing noises to relax you. The Sound+ control app also has a Find My Jabra mode for locating misplaced buds.

The Jabra Elite Active 75T promises 5.5 hours of run time with the Active Noise Cancellation turned on. The storage case acts as a backup and Jabra says it can give the earbuds an additional 24 hours of battery life. The storage case supports wireless charging, and it is compatible with Qi-certified chargers. This means you can even charge the device with your smartphone’s wireless charging pad. There is also support for fast charging that gives up to an hour of battery life from a quick 15-minute charge.

The Jabra Elite Active 75T comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 which offers a more stable and reliable connection. The earphones support AAC, SBC codecs and Jabra says the earphones offer up to 33 feet of range. The earphone also supports the multi-point feature, allowing to connect two devices to the earbuds simultaneously. This feature comes quite handy as you can easily take calls from your smartphone while watching movies on your laptop.

The Jabra Elite Active 75T are great fitness-orientated true wireless earbuds. The earphones aren’t over-engineered like alternative sports design earphones, making them perfect even for casual usage.
