    Can I use CASIO electronic musical instrument as a MIDI keyboard? And, what is the difference between "MIDI" and "General MIDI"?
    An electronic musical instrument with a MIDI terminal can be used as a MIDI keyboard. And, an electronic musical instrument with a USB (to host) terminal can be used as a MIDI keyboard by connecting to a computer via a USB cable.

    What is the purpose of OCTAVE SHIFT?
    CTAVE SHIFT allows you to shift the octave of a pitch to higher or lower. This is useful to make it more comfortable to play on your keyboard and enables you to play the base tone which is not originally on the keyboard (For example, if you set it one octave lower, you can play a note one octave lower than the lowest note of keyboard).

    Can I connect my piano (or keyboard) to a smartphone and send the MIDI files?
    The standard driver of our piano or keyboard supports only Windows and macOS, not supporting Android or iOS.

    What type of USB cable is needed to connect with PC?
    For USB compatible model with GENERAL MIDI function, you can use USB 2.0 A/B type cable to connect PC and you can access the MIDI message.

    Can I use earphones?
    Yes. Please note that there are two types of phone jack: Stereo standard jack (6.3mm) and Stereo mini jack (3.5mm). You may need plug conversion adapter.To check the type of phone jack for your product, please refer to the user's manual

    What is the Versatile Tones?
    Versatile Tones are tones whose names are starting with "VERSATILE" or "Vst". Versatile Tones are for creating computer music, not for playing.Versatile Tones assign performance sounds that are characteristic of a particular musical instrument (such as a guitar glissando, fret noise, etc.) to each keyboard key (note) and velocity.
