Key things to understand about your resQ Care Plan for Television.
Are accessories covered in this plan?
No. Accessories such as 3D glasses, antenna, headphones, cables, wall mount bracket, table top stand, adapter, internal dongle, and front & back cabinet are not covered. The plan covers electrical and functional parts only.
What happens if the TV cannot be repaired?
If the TV is declared Total Loss or Beyond Economically Repairable (BER), we provide settlement as per the existing depreciation matrix, upon collection of the non-repaired TV and its accessories. The plan cover ceases after settlement.
What is Beyond Economically Repairable (BER)?
When the cost of repair exceeds 75% of the product’s Sum Insured (invoice value), the TV is declared Beyond Economically Repairable.
What is Total Loss?
When the product cannot be repaired within reasonable time, or for reasons beyond control (parts unavailable or otherwise), it is declared a Total Loss.

General exclusions
- Damage or defects caused by product misuse
- Body damage and aesthetic defects that don’t affect functionality
- Wear and tear, rust, cracks, flaws or gradual deterioration
- Defects or damages caused outside India
- Product re-installation
- Malfunctions due to unauthorised servicing or water seepage
- Tampered or removed serial numbers - product will not be attended
- Physical, accidental or liquid damage
- Products purchased or used for commercial purposes
- Burned or fire breakout cases
- Failures due to power fluctuations
