No Driver Installation Required
The Mega Hub UL1024 comes with a plug and play option. You can connect it to any peripheral without having to install any driver for cross compatibility. It connects to all Mac OS operating systems with ease. Identifying all unique devices, this type C hub is engineered to recognize the connected computer and adapt itself accordingly.
USB 3.0 Support
There are three (3) USB 3.0 ports present in the Mega Hub. One is detachable and two are fixed. Each one of these ports will allow you upload data to or download data from your computer at transfer speeds of 5Gbps. They can also be used to link other peripherals (mouse, keyboard, pen drives, etc.) to your laptop. For units that don’t have USB 3.0 support, these ports have been designed to be downward compatible with UBS 2.0 and later versions. When they are not in use for transferring files, these ports can be used to supply power (up to 4.5W) to the connected devices like external hard drives.

High Definition Video
Visual entertainment is one feature that the UltraProLink Type C Mega Hub is big on. The HDMI port is available for connecting your computer to a larger screen. This connection port also allows the rendering of images in as much as a 4K (and 2K) resolution at a broadcasting frequency of 30Hz.When such a resolution is not available on the connecting devices, the HDMI port will scale down to either of 1080P, 1080I and 720P – depending on the stream.

An ethernet connectivity feature allows the transfer of internet data to your computer and across the connected units too. With a transceiver carrying as much as 1000M compatibility, this Gigabit hub brings massive upload and download speeds to you.

Power Delivery & Data Transfer through Type C
Harness the true power of Type C by not using it only for data but also to power your laptop. The Mega Hub can power up Macbooks of upto 20V/87W and that pretty much takes care all model variants. 61W for 13” Macbook Pro / 87W for 15” Macbook Pro / 30W for Macbook Air. To avoid power overload, the motherboard is encoded with an adaptive adjustment feature to deliver power based on the needs of connected devices only. Besides PD Pass thru port, the Mega Hub also offers 2 Type C 3.1 ports for data transfer.
