Everyone wants a smartphone which can do everything, right? That includes playing high-end games to browsing crystal-clear photos, running a hundred apps, we want a phone that performs well. A good smartphone, with a few high-end specifications can anywhere cost you near Rs. 30,000 which sounds great, but we still need to make some compromises. Till of late, expecting a budget smartphone to have all the flagship specifications was impossible but the arrival of the Poco F1 has changed it all. It comes with all the top-of-the-line hardware while still retaining a budget price tag, putting an end to the era of compromises. To know everything exciting about the Poco F1, read on.

Stunning design

The Poco F1 is made of premium plastic and follows an impressive sleek design profile. It weighs just 182 grams and is as thin as a slim diary. If you love your phones to be rugged, the Poco F1 also has an Armoured edition whose back is made up of real Kevlar. We aren’t sure if it’s bulletproof or not (we believe in peace) but it surely looks strong enough to withstand rough use. In addition to the Armoured edition, it also comes in multiple colours such as Graphite, Rosso Red and Steel Blue which opens up more options.

Incredible display

The Poco F1 comes equipped with a 6.1-inch, full-HD plus display, which has a resolution of 2246 x 1080. The screen has a display density of 403ppi which is even more than many of the last year’s flagship devices. It operates at 500 nits of brightness, which makes content visible even under direct sunlight. Along with this all, the display also has a night mode and auto colour adjustments making it completely future-ready.

Best-in-class camera

A smartphone cannot be a great complete package unless it has a good camera, and in today’s world, that means it should at least support dual cameras, right? The Poco F1 won’t disappoint you at all. The primary 12MP camera has larger 1.4um pixels while the secondary 5MP camera comes with 1.2um pixels. Both the lenses are good enough to deliver great camera performance under every light condition.

If the front camera is the one that you care about the most, then this is the device for you. The Poco F1 has a phenomenal 20MP front camera which can easily click crystal-clear selfies. The AI face detection quickly identifies faces in the frame, making it much easier to click the picture.

If you ever wish to vlog videos for YouTube or any other purpose, you won’t be disappointed as the Poco F1 supports full-HD and even 4K video recording.

Flagship specifications

The Poco F1 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, which usually powers high-end devices. It gives the phone blazing-fast performance which can handle any games or even video editing apps with ease.

This device is also equipped with an Adreno 630 GPU, so if you are planning to play PUBG Mobile or even Fortnite on high graphics, that’s a piece of cake for the Poco F1.

Most smartphones tend to heat-up after delivering such a performance, but this is not the case with the Poco F1.  The device is equipped with the revolutionary liquid cooling technology which is usually reserved for hardcore gaming smartphones.

Massive battery

Running out of battery life just feels terrible, however with the Poco F1, you are hardly going to face this. It has a gigantic 4000mAh battery than is capable of providing juice to the phone for long working days. Xiaomi has also made sure you won’t waste your precious hours just charging the devices, as the Poco F1 also comes with Quickcharge 3.0 which ensures tremendously fast charging speeds.

Performance for everyone

The Poco F1 is a great phone overall. The device has an impressive build quality, amazing display and with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 onboard, it is truly a high-end device in a budget price range. With prices starting from Rs. 20,999 for the base variant, it offers the same processor along with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage as phones that cost 50% more, which is just incredible. If you bump up the specifications, the prices do go up, but not as significantly as other flagships. This lets users the freedom to choose their devices according to their needs and budget.
