Smartphones have become the world’s most popular way of capturing photographs. So many of us use smartphones cameras for photography, and mobile manufacturers are racing to make cameras better. It looks like Vivo has gained a huge leap in perfecting smartphone cameras. The brand is well-known for their camera-centric smartphones, and its latest offering is the Vivo X60 Pro Plus. Vivo has jointly developed the device’s cameras with Carl Zeiss, a brand known for its high-end optical systems. That not all.

The Vivo X60 Pro Plus comes with a quad-camera configuration where the primary 50MP camera has an f/1.48 aperture. This is the largest aperture a smartphone camera has ever offered. This means you can expect the X60 Pro Plus to be great at capturing low-light images. The phone’s secondary 48MP camera also promises to capture ultra-smooth pictures and videos with its built-in 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation. This camera offers a 114-degree field-of-view so you can capture more in a frame. The Vivo X60 Pro Plus can also record up to 8K videos at 30 fps, and Vivo says its gimbal-like stabilisation makes it perfect for recording cinematic shots and vlogs.

The Vivo X60 Pro Plus can also zoom with its dual-lens zooming system. It’s a combination of an 8MP periscope zoom lens that captures 5x optical zoom shots and a 32MP 3x optical telephoto camera. The cameras also work together along with some electronic zoom to offer a 60X digital zoom. The 8MP camera also has a 50mm focal length that makes it perfect for clicking portrait images. The X60 Pro Plus’s front camera is also as strong as the rear ones. It is a 32MP, f/2.45 ultra-wide-angle camera, so you can easily capture group selfies. The camera also records 4K videos at 60 fps making the phone an ideal choice for video vloggers.

The Vivo X60 Pro Plus greatness doesn’t end with its cameras. The device comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that brings huge performance improvements over its predecessor. The CPU is based on a new 5nm fabrication process, and it delivers peak speeds up to 2.4 GHz. This is more than enough power to run modern-day high-end apps smoothly. The CPU’s performance coupled with the Mali-G78 GPU should let you play high-end games without any stuttering. The phone also promises to be a solid multi-tasker with its 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is also 128GB of USF 3.1 storage that offers faster read and write speeds while also reducing the app loading times.

The X60 Pro Plus is the brand’s first device to ship with Vivo’s OriginOS. Vivo says the new user interface is much tidier and more efficient than its predecessor. Apart from the new compact UI, Vivo has also tweaked the Always-On Display to show more information than before. The new OriginOS also features Vivo’s Enhanced Memory Fusion Technology 1.0 that aims to improve the device’s performance by using memory integration, process optimization, and application pre-loading.

The Vivo X60 Pro Plus make no design compromises. The device has a curved front and back, with a flat top and bottom. The rear of the device comes with an eco-leather finish that offers a unique texture. The phone is available in two different shades – Orange and Emperor Blue. The Vivo X60 Pro Plus weighs just 191 grams which makes it lighter than most flagships. It is also just 9.1 mm thin. Despite the phone’s thin and light nature, it packs a large 4200mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. The phone has an in-display fingerprint reader for security. You can also use it to buy apps and make payments.

Users are also going to be pleased with the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 6.5-inch display. It uses a Super AMOLED panel which is known for its top-notch picture quality. The screen’s punch-hole display design offers a 90.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio making the screen nearly edgeless. The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate which makes the viewing experience smooth and fluid. There is also HDR10+ support, which means you can enjoy watching HDR content from Netflix and other streaming platforms. The screen produces 1300 nits of peak brightness which mean outdoor visibility is barely going to be an issue.

The Vivo X60 Pro Plus is also ahead of its rivals on the connectivity front. It is a dual-SIM 5G device and it has Wi-Fi 6 for wireless connectivity. The device is also one of the first to have Bluetooth 5.2 for better connectivity and reducing power usage. NFC is present, for quickly pairing devices and making payments. The Vivo X60 Pro Plus is designed for professional photography, but its solid specs make it an all-rounder flagship device. The device will be available soon for pre-order at your nearest Reliance Digital store and www.reliancedigital.in.
