The Samsung Galaxy A32 is one of the nicest looking phones to come from Samsung at this exciting price of just Rs. 21,999*. It has a fresh look, a speedy processor, and a set of great cameras. If you are out for a new smartphone and something that’s better than the average, basic smartphone, this must be on your considerations list. It’s a fact, there are plenty of options surrounding the new A32, but most of us feel comfortable choosing a device from an established brand, such as Samsung.
The Samsung A32 comes in a range of classy colours, all tagged as ‘Awesome’. You can choose from Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue and Awesome Violet. The colours aren’t saturated and gaudy like you find on most phones; they are made to be modest. Despite it, they are shamelessly attractive colours on the new Samsung Galaxy A32. The rear panel has four cameras, and they are lined up vertically, except the 5MP macro camera. It’s vertically aligned with the flash unit. The whole setup is a lot nicer than the flat block designs that we have seen on a lot of the recent smartphones.
On the user-facing side, is a large 6.4-inch screen that’s spec’d for a resolution of 1080 x 2400 (FHD+) with the only minor distraction being the teardrop-style camera up top. The lower bezel is thicker than the slim one that surrounds the rest of the phone. This is no LCD panel either, it’s Samsung’s Super AMOLED display so you can be assured of its great colours, brightness and contrast, something sorely lacking on many other phones. The screen has a 90 Hz refresh rate that makes watching content on the display a joy. Even scrolling through menus, pages, news feeds and Instagram is silky smooth. The higher refresh rate alone is enough to make most people very excited about the A32. This is a display made for watching movies, playing games or even making video calls. The camera up top is rated at 20 MP, so it’s detailed and its F/2.2 aperture ensures you capture a large area. You can hold the phone up close while capturing, and it’s also great for selfies.
Most of us want to know what’s under the hood of our new smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A32 runs an octa-core processor that uses a pair of quad-cores, clocked at 2 GHz and 1.8 GHz. The processor is bundled with 6 GB of RAM and that help the A32 propel through all kinds of demanding apps and games. Launching apps and jumping between a bunch of them should be spontaneous. Gaming should be no issue either, especially if you are into online titles Battle Royale titles like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Mobile. There is also ample space to store all these apps and games. The phone comes with 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 1TB with the help of a microSD card slot. Samsung says about 103.2 GB of the internal storage can be used, which is more than what most of us need.

The rear cameras are the other major are of interest with the new A32. The primary camera has a whopping 64 MP sensor which means a great amount of detail, and the ability to print the photos on large surfaces if you wish to. The primary camera is aided by an 8 MP wide-angle camera that lets you grab a wider view of the world. It’s also helpful when you are clicking a large group of people or a landscape, or even a crowded indoor party. The 5 MP depth camera is to bring in that smooth and artistic depth-of-field that we typically see in photos shot on professional DSLR cameras. There is also a 5 MP macro camera when you want to get close-up with the subject, and it’s great for clicking photos of miniature objects, such as insects and flowers. The macro camera works alongside the depth camera to create some truly awe-inspiring results. You can even adjust the amount of depth of field in moments on the camera app. The same can be done with the front-facing selfie camera as well. Video recording frame rates reach 120fps at HD, so it can be used to slow down footage as well.
The Samsung Galaxy A32 ships with a 5,000 mAh battery and it supports 15 W charging. Samsung even claims it should last for about two days on a single charge, as per their lab testing. The other set of standard features are available as well. You get Wi-Fi 802.11ac support as well as Bluetooth 5.0. There is NFC, so you can pair easily with compatible devices in moments. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack so you can simply plug in and be on your way. The A32 also has an in-screen fingerprint scanner so you can unlock your phone, or lock access for apps and web sites with it. Samsung’s One UI has seen major changes over the months and years. It’s now an optimized operating system layer that’s free of any bloat, and the neat tweaks help you focus on the task at hand.
There is a lot to like about the new Samsung Galaxy A32. For one, it looks great, and it has the hardware to perform, not to mention the great set of cameras that let you capture great shots for Instagram and other social media. It should tick all the right boxes for your next smartphone upgrade. The Samsung Galaxy A32 is now available for purchase on RelianceDigital.in.
