The newly launched Asus ROG Flow X13 breaks the conventional rules, as it might be the first 2-in-1 laptop with a gaming DNA. The Asus ROG Flow comes with a 13.4-inch 4K display (3840 x 2400). Asus claims the screen renders extremely natural-looking colours, which makes it perfect for content creation work. It’s a touch screen panel that works with the Asus Pen, so you get precise control while using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Affinity Designer. The display comes with Gorilla Glass protection which makes it scratch resistant and ensures you can scribble, wipe, and tap worry-free. This is Asus’s first gaming laptop with a 16:10 screen aspect ratio, so it gives you more vertical room and an immersive content viewing experience. You will also see similar finer lines on the palm rest area. The laptop has a magnesium-alloy chassis that gives it great durability. The 360-degree hinge lets you fold the display back into a tablet format, and it also prevents wobbling. The laptop weighs nearly 1kg, so you can easily slip it into a briefcase or a backpack while travelling.
The Asus ROG Flow X13 is also full of connectivity ports. There are two USB Type-C ports for charging, data and connecting external monitors. Asus claims they provide good feedback, making the typing experience easy and enjoyable. There are four dedicated keys for volume up/down, muting the mic, and launching the Asus Armory Crate app that lets your personalise your laptop experience. The trackpad on the laptop is also large and has Windows Precision Driver support for flawless operations. This means you can multitask and glide through video timelines easily.
