DSLRs have considered to be expensive gizmos to own. Perhaps, they’re not considered to be a great device anymore by the masses, possibly because we assume mobile phones are the best cameras around. Truth be told, DSLRs are still as relevant because they offer so much more – detailed photos with wider range of colours, great resolution and not to forget, fine control that lets you click some really professional looking photographs. DSLRs are no longer expensive and the newly launched Canon EOS 3000D is proof of that.

Priced at Rs. 28,990, it’s now available at Reliance Digital and there are several reasons you should consider buying one. The EOS 3000D is powered by a APS-C sized CMOS sensor that offers an ISO range of 100 – 6400, which means good photo detail whether you shoot in bright day light or in the evenings. You’re rarely need to use a flash with this camera. The camera body is bundled with a standard 18-55mm lens too so you can do good indoor shoots. You’ll have plenty of lens options to choose from, once you get used to the camera and explore more possibilities. Shutter speed is limited between 1/4000sec and 30 seconds, which is the norm for most DSLRs in this price range.

Most new cameras of late come with Wi-Fi connectivity and the EOS 3000D is no different. You can use your smartphone to connect to the camera, remotely click photos and even transfer photos back to the smartphone, using an app. Further on, you can edit the photos and upload them to WhatsApp, Facebook, Flickr, Instagram or any photo sharing service that you use.
