Most of us try to keep our home or office as clean as possible, but there is one part beyond the surface which we often overlook – the air. Acer is known as a high-tech technology, but the brand is now also expanding its product line-up by launching the Acerpure Cool. The device is Acer’s first air purifier designed to offer 2-in-1 functionalities. It is different from traditional air purifiers, and here is everything you need to know about it.
The Acerpure Cool has a 2-in-1 design that removes impurities from the air while also circulating pure air. It has a noticeable large fan that projects purified air up to a distance of 16 meters. Acer claims the fan enables wall-to-wall airflow, helping to fill the room with purified air more efficiently. Acer says the device just needs 3 minutes to fully circulate air in a 27m2 room, making it way more efficient than traditional air purifiers.
Both the functions of air circulation and air purification can be used at same time or separately. This unique design lets you use the device in multiple ways. For example, you can use the device as a portable fan while relaxing, or project air on clothes to dry them in wet seasons. You can also use the purifier to circulate an air conditioner’s cool air from one room to other.
The Acerpure Cool has a pretty modern and futuristic design. It is 58 cm in height and 33 cm in width, so it is about a size of a small stool. This means you can easily place the device anywhere in your room without worrying too much about the space. The device is available in dark grey and white colours. The design isn’t too flashy, which means the device fits into any home or office colour scheme. The Acerpure Cool also has a swing function to ensure fresh air is circulated more effectively. The fan can turn 90 degrees vertically, and the air purifier rotates from left to right up to 80 degrees. The functions are pretty much like a stand fan but with more advanced features.
The Acerpure Cool uses a Triple-Filtration HEPA13 to filter air. The outermost pre-filter is designed to effectively trap dander, dust and pet hair. The second layer of the filter uses Activated Carbon, which Acer says make the purifier capable of removing gases and odour from the purified air. The final layer of the filter eliminates PM 1.0 particles along with 99.97 per cent of 0.3um suspended particles in indoor air. It also helps to reduce allergens in the air that can trigger asthma. Acer says the filter is also treated with Ag+ Silver which makes it effective against bacteria and even the H1N1 virus.
The Acerpure Cool doesn’t just purify the air, but it also lets users monitor the air quality around them. It comes with a PM 1.0 Air Quality Sensor that measures indoor air quality in real-time. The quality of air is displayed via three LED lights – red, yellow and green. Based on the air quality, the device automatically adjusts its operation ensuring efficient air purification of the room. The Acerpure Cool also has inbuilt smart sensors that inform users when they need to clean or replace the filter.
The Acerpure Cool comes with a LED Intuitive Touch Panel for easy and hassle-free operation. There is also a Child Lock feature to ensure kids don’t accidentally change the purifier’s settings. The device can also be controlled with a remote, which adds more convenience. Air purifiers often get too loud while purifying air however, this isn’t the case with the Acerpure Cool. The device comes with a Quiet mode that keep the sound levels as low as 26dB. This means the purifier will barely disturb you when you are sleeping. There is also an option to set timers, ensuring you can go to sleep without worrying about turning off the purifier.
