Acer’s Aspire series of laptops are known for the right balance of productivity and creativity performance. They are lightweight and can be carried around effortlessly during daily commutes or from one meeting room to other. Acer is now adding a new A515-57G laptop to this series. It is Acer’s one of the first Aspire laptops to take performance from the Nitro devices while maintaining the same lightweight footprint. Its Rs. 59,990* price tag also makes it an interesting proposition since there aren’t many gaming-oriented laptops available in this range.

The Acer Aspire A515-57G is a well-made laptop, with its stylish yet simplistic design. There are no eye-catchy LEDs, ensuring you can comfortably use this laptop in professional environments as well. The laptop has a solid metal hinge that firmly stabilizes the display during daily use. The lid also raises the display, for better airflow and an ergonomic typing position. The laptop weighs about 1.8 kg which is decent for a laptop of this size. The lower section of the laptop uses plastic, ensuring the device can easily take on accidental bumps. You can choose the laptop in a Silver or Golden variant. Both models sport a matte finish which does a good job of hiding smudges and fingerprints.

The Aspire A515 comes with all the connectivity ports you would expect from a modern-day laptop. You get three USB-A ports for connecting storage drives and other peripherals. There is also a Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support for fast data transfer speeds. This port can be used to connect multiple external displays and even to charge the device. The laptop also has a full-size HDMI port and an Ethernet port on the left. The right side is clean with a microSD card reader.

The laptop has a full-size backlit keyboard with large keys. Acer says the keys provide 1.3mm of travel and are well-spaced to make typing comfortable. The keycaps have a smooth matte finish which helps to hide smudges. Since there is also a dedicated numerical pad for those who work with numbers. The trackpad sports the same finish and houses a fingerprint reader for quick logins. The device also has an HD web camera supporting Windows Hello face authentication feature. Acer says the camera also supports its Temporal Noise Reduction, claiming to improve video conferencing experience in low light conditions.

The Acer Aspire A515-57G sports a 15.5-inch display offering a full HD resolution. It uses an IPS panel which ensures natural-looking colours and wide viewing angles. Acer says the screen delivers accurate colours, making the content-watching experience more immersive. You can also rely on this display for using colour correction tools. The screen has a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, so you get more space to arrange apps side-by-side. More screen space is also handy while going through video editing timelines. The display also supports Acer’s Comfy View Technology to reduce blue light emission. It ensures your eyes don’t strain too much during long-term usage. The screen bezels on this device are also one of the best in the class, giving the laptop a premium and subtle look.

The Acer Aspire A515-57G offers an all-around performance. The device runs the latest Intel 12th generation Core i5-1240P CPU. This CPU has a total of 12 cores, four of which are dedicated to performance and eight for power efficiency. The processor is clocked up to 4.40 GHz, making the laptop powerful enough to run high-end productivity apps with ease. Where most entry-range gaming laptops house NVIDIA’s GeForce 1650 GPUs, the Aspire 57G comes loaded with the GeForce RTX 2050 graphics solution. It enables the laptop with Ray Tracing capabilities, making titles like Battlefield V, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Control appear more realistic.

The GPU will also allow you to smoothly run photo and video editing tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro. The Aspire 57G has 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, good enough for everyday smooth multitasking. The RAM is removable and upgradable up to 32 GB. It is a good feature as most other new-gen laptops come with soldered RAM, leaving no space for performance improvements. The laptop comes with 512GB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage. Acer has also included an additional SSD slot for storage expansion. On the wireless connectivity front, the device supports the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard. There is also support for Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting wireless peripherals.

The laptop claims a strong battery life and it ships with a 90W adaptor. It’s a Type-C charger, so you can use the phone’s charge to power the device. The laptop runs Windows 11 Home and comes with nearly no bloatware.

The Acer Aspire A515-57G is a solid laptop for productivity, creativity as well as gaming needs. It packs in one of the most powerful CPUs of 2022, and it can easily handle heavy workloads without any stutter. The device’s scope for upgrading makes it future-ready and an instant winner among its rivals. You can now have the laptop delivered to your home by ordering from www.reliancedigital.in.
