What is Bio Sleep(Good Sleep) mode in Samsung Air conditioners?
Samsung's Biosleep ( Good sleep ) mode ensures that the most comfortable environmental temperature is maintained for a good night's sleep.
Best temperature for deep sleep :
- Falling Asleep stage : Eases you into sleep by dropping the temperature.
- Sound Sleep stage : Relaxes your body and raises your temperature slightly.
- Wake up stage : Allows you to wake up with comfortable intermittent air and makes you feel refreshed.
Please follow the below steps to activate and deactivate the Good'/Bio-sleep mode:
When the air-conditioner is on and in cool mode:
1. Press the good' sleep/bio sleep button on the remote control.
- Good'/Bio sleep indicator appears and off timer indicator starts blinking on the remote control display.
2. Press the good' sleep/bio sleep button to set the time.
- Unit can be set by interval of 30 min up to 3 hours and by interval of 1 hour from 3 hours to 12 hours.
- Default operation hour is set to 8 hours.
3. Press the Set/Cancel button to activate and deactivate it.
- Off timer indicator stops blinking and reserved time will be displayed for 3 seconds. Then the air conditioner operates in good'/bio sleep mode.
- If you don't press Set/Cancel button within 10 seconds after pressing the good'/bio sleep button, the air conditioner will return to previous status.
How can I use the auto-clean function of my air conditioner?
The auto-clean function automatically cleans and dries the inside of the air conditioner indoor unit. In order to keep the air conditioner in optimum condition and maintain purity of the air in your home, regularly clean the indoor unit, filters, and external exchanger.
What is an auto-clean function?
The auto-clean function will prevent the growth of harmful microorganisms by eliminating the moisture inside the indoor unit. This function prevents rusting on the evaporator coil. Activate this function to provide cleaner and healthier air. Using auto-clean is purely dependent on the user and how often they use it. We recommend that you use the auto cleaning function regularly.
Displayed Cl code in the indoor unit
- If Auto-Clean function is turned on, Cl will be displayed in the indoor unit.
- When operation is off, auto-clean runs for 10 min. (in a few models for 15-30 min.)
- The indoor unit display shows the cleaning progress (from 1 to 99%).
- After auto clean, the air conditioner will turn off automatically.
How to activate the auto-clean function
When you set the auto-clean function, it will start immediately after the air conditioner is turned off. If you start a function while in auto-clean operation, the auto-clean function will reset, and will be restarted when that function has stopped or completed.
Step 1.Press and hold the Options button for 3 seconds or more.
Step 2. Go to the directional buttons (right or left arrow) to select the Clean function on the remote control display.
Step 3. Click the Settings button to confirm.
