What is Water Consumption per Wash?
- The water consumption per wash varies according to the type of machine you are using. Here,the amount of water required for each washing machine is given below:
- Here, L means litres.

Note: The above details are generic however water consumption depends upon the specification of Washing Machine. To check the same kindly refer Specification and User Manual of your Washing Machine.
Samsung Washing Machine does not spin ?
- Check the machine in empty condition - Please run spin mode in empty condition.
- Drain pipe is not placed properly- If drain pipe is hanged or bent then please place it properly on the ground.
1. ESTIMATING THE LENGTH OF DRAIN HOSE
- When there is no threshold (barrier), the length of the drain hose should not exceed 3m.
- When it is necessary to connect the drain hose with the drain outlet located far away, connect the extension hose and applicable parts (available from dealers or service centers).
- Do not install the drain hose where it must extend over a threshold of 5cm or more; do not install where there is a threshold (as shown below) and the hose must extend for more than 2m.
POSITIONING THE DRAIN HOSE
- Do not put the end of the drain hose into the water.
- Do not place the hose below the floor level of the drain outlet.
- Do not make the mid part of the hose positioned higher than the ends.
3. CLEAN BLOCKED DRAIN PIPE
- Drain pipe blocked - Remove and clean the drain pipe.
Steps to Clean Drain Pipe :
a) Please remove the Drain pipe and clean the pipe in running water.
b) After cleaning the pipe, while re-fixing, ensure that the drain pipe spreads straight to the drain hole with no obstacles higher than 5 cm in the way.
c) Please do not extend the drain pipe more than 3 m (metres).
- Check the machine in empty condition - Post cleaning of drain pipe, check the tub in empty spinning condition (by pressing power > spin > start).
- If issue does not resolve post performing the above steps then watch a below video.
- If the issue is not solved by above mentioned steps, washing machine require service.
What to do when the Samsung Washing Machine unexpectedly stops?
If the washing machine stops unexpectedly, these are the following steps required:
1. Close the door firmly, select the desired cycle, and then press the start/Pause button to start the washer.
2. Verify the water supply valves are completely open.
3. Check the screen on the inlet hoses on the back of the washer and clean them if there are any obstructions.
4. Verify the debris filter is clean.
5. Verify the drain hose is not inserted more then 6 inches into the drain, stand pipe.
6. If the washing machine also turns off when it stops unexpectedly and perform all of the troubleshooting steps in the unit will not power on the article.

If the washing machine stops unexpectedly, these are the following steps required:

What to do when the washing machine vibrates excessively?
[Cause]
This problem is usually caused by one of the following conditions,
- The unit is not levelled.
- Shipping bolts are not removed.
[Solution]
If washer is vibrating, do the following,
- Make sure the shipping bolts are removed.
- Make sure your washer is properly installed. Pay special attention to leveling, as it is crucial for minimizing vibration.
- Check the load amount. A severely under loaded or overloaded washer will vibrate excessively. If you are washing one pair of jeans, add a few additional items to create a balanced load. If your washer is overloaded, try to remove a few items to create a balanced load.
- Reposition the load. Sometimes the heavier items will bunch together and cause an unbalanced condition.
Note:
If your washer is set on a pedestal, it is very important that the washer places on its side only with the shipping bolts still installed to facilitate the installation. If your washer stands in any other position to facilitate the pedestal installation, it may cause vibration. Your washer is required help from the service center to remove vibration.
