How do I use the attachments of my Philips Satinelle Epilator?
Your Philips Satinelle Epilator may come with many attachments. Find out here how to use these attachments for the best epilating experience.

Replacing the attachments
Some attachments can be placed on top of the epilator head. For others, you need to first remove the epilator head and then attach the new head to the body of the epilator. Simply snap it on to the epilator body until you hear a 'click'.

Shaving head
You can use the shaving head of your epilator to shave your legs, underarms and bikini line. While using the shaving head, move the epilator gently over your skin against the direction of hair growth.
When shaving your underarms, place your arm behind your head to stretch the underarm area, then move the epilator up and down and from left to right to cover all the hair growing in different directions.
If you have very short hair, like a stubble, then you should use the microshaver attachment for best results.
For maximum shaving performance, replace the shaving head cutting unit once a year.

Trimming attachment
To trim hard-to-reach areas like your bikini zone, it is better to use the trimmer head which comes with your epilator.

Efficacy cap
The efficacy cap or the skin stretcher attachment helps to keep the skin tight during epilation to reduce pain.

Facial cap
Attach the facial cap onto the epilating head for precise epilating of facial hair such as upper lip.

Body exfoliation brush
The body exfoliation brush helps remove dead skin cells. It should be used before epilating, as it makes the skin smooth, and epilation easier and less painful.
To attach the body exfoliation brush to your epilator you have to first remove the epilator head. You can then attach the body exfoliation brush to the coupling unit and then attach to it to the appliance handle.
If you use the body exfoliation brush 2-3 times a week, replace it every 3 months.
