How to log into the web-based interface of the MERCUSYS Wireless N Router?
The web-based management page of MERCUSYS routers is a built-in internal web server that does not require internet access. It does however require your device to be connected to the Mercursys router. This connection can be wired or wireless.
It is strongly recommended to use a wired connection if you are going to change the router’s wireless settings or upgrade the firmware version of the router.
Step 1
Choose your connection type (Wired or Wireless)
Step1a: If Wireless, connect to router’s network.
Step1b: If wired, connect your Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports on the back of your MERCUSYS router.
Step 2
Open a web browser (i.e Safari, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer). At the top of the window in the address bar, type in one of the following 192.168.1.1 or http://mwlogin.net

Note:
The Domain name differs by model. Please find it on the bottom label of the product.
Step 3
Make a new password on the login page.

Note:
The password would be 6-15 characters and it should be case sensitive.
Step 4
Click on the arrow to login, you can then login to the WEB based management page.

What can I do if I forgot the login password of the MERCUSYS Wireless Router?
There is no default login password for MERCUSYS Wireless Router. When you login to the management page of the router for the first time, it will ask you to create a login password. If you have forgot the login password you’ve created, there is no way to find it. You need reset it to factory default and configure it as a new one.

Directly press and hold the reset button on the rear panel with a pin for approximately 10 seconds when the device is running.

Release the reset button and wait for the device to reboot.
Note:
1. Make certain that the router is powered on before it restarts completely.
2. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1 (or http://mwlogin.net/).
3. Ensure that the IP address of your computer is in the same subnet with the device. It means that your computer has an IP address 192.168.1.X (X is in range of 2~253), and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
