Match Procedure

Valorant Map Pool Teams will compete across the following maps:

  • Split
  • Bind
  • Haven
  • Fracture
  • Lotus
  • Pearl
  • Ascent

Server Setup All participants are required to adhere to the following setup:

  • Game Server: Mumbai
  • Map: Chosen from the map pool
  • Mode: Standard

Server Options

  • Allow Cheats: Disabled
  • Tournament Mode: Enabled
  • Overtime - Win by Two: Enabled

Best-of-Three (BO3) Matches - Map Selection Procedure

  1. Team on the Top: Chooses the first map from the map pool.
  2. Team on the Bottom: Chooses their starting side for the first map.
  3. Team on the Bottom: Chooses the second map from the map pool.
  4. Team on the Top: Chooses their starting side for the second map.
  5. Team on the Bottom: Chooses the third map from the map pool.
  6. Team on the Top: Chooses their starting side for the third map.

Note:

  • Administrators retain the authority to restart the veto process if necessary.
  • In BO3, the first game is hosted by the Bottom Team. For subsequent games, the host shifts to the Top Team, requiring a lobby recreation.

General Rules:

1) Match Rules

1.1 Before the Match:

  • All the Players must be in the lobby before the time limit goes down (10 minutes). If there are Players from any of the Teams missing after this time limit, take a screenshot and post it in the current round sub channel on the discord. If both Teams have Players who have failed to join, then both Teams are disqualified.
  • Once all the Players are connected to the lobby, Team captains must check all the Players if their Valorant nicknames match the nick names written on the discord. If there are any discrepancies, please inform the admin on the discord by writing in the sub channel of the current round with the screenshot provided.
  • After map selection Team captains must write that their Team Is ready in the lobby chat. The game should not start before that.

1.2 During the Match:

  • If one of the Teams will not pick all the agents in the character selection screen and the game goes back to the lobby, the game must be remade.
  • In the case that the game has started before writing ready from both sides, the Team which did not write ready has the right to call a remake before round 1 of the game starts. (before the countdown in the game of round 1 reaches 0).
  • If any of the Players are not connected to the game before the counter reaches 0, the Team can call a remake and the game must be remade.
  • If the game started on the wrong map, the game must be remade.
  • In order to do the remake, all the Players must leave the match. Start the next game as soon as possible. Both Team captains will have to write ready again. If the team is not ready by 5 minutes after the remake, the Team which is not ready will be disqualified. Game can be remade only once; the game must be played in the way it started after the remake, even if the issues will occur. The situation can still be reported in the official discord channel.
  • If the Team which is hosting the game does not remake the Opposing Team Can Report the situation to the admins on the official Discord channel. The case will be reviewed and can result in disqualification of the team which did not do a remake.
  • If a Player disconnects during the game, the game can be paused during the buying phase and there will be allowed a total of 10 minutes of pause. Each Team Can Request 5 such pauses for a game.

1.3 After the Match:

  • Once the match finishes, both Team captains must take a screenshot of the results and post it in the current round sub channel on the official discord for the tournament after each game
    Please use the following format:
    (Round – Game: Team 1 13:7 Team 2 same for the next 2 matches) Example: Round 128: Team X 13:7 Team Y)
    On the game result screenshot, results above the scoreboard, all the Players and information of the match on the right of the results must be visible.
    Example: HERE (make sure you do not remove names from the scoreboard)
  • If one of the Teams will not send the screenshot within 15 minutes of the match end, the screenshot which was sent by the other Team will be considered.
  • If the screenshots of both Teams are missing within 15 minutes of the match end, the game will not be counted and in case of BO1, both Teams will be disqualified.
  • If the screenshots from both Teams are not matching, the situation will be investigated by the admin team. The Team which provided the incorrect screenshot can be disqualified or banned based on the circumstances.
  • If the game is BO3 or higher, the games must start as soon as possible between each other.

2) In-game Nickname

Each Player must use his official nickname during matches. It’s not allowed to add  explicit or derogatory additions, characters or words, only exceptions are sponsor names which are limited to one (1)
per Player.

3) Game Server Location

All games will take place on a game server situated in Mumbai.

4) Detailed Information

4.1 Tournament Mode:
Matches must be played in Standard mode, with overtime if applicable. A match is completed when a winner is determined. All matches must be played out.

4.2 Match Start Time:
A Team will have an extra ten (10) minutes past the starting time to get the minimum players required into the match lobby. The match must commence within ten (10) minutes of the match starting time. Any further time to get the minimum of four Players will be granted solely at the discretion of the Team with the required four or more Players. Failure to start a match within ten minutes of the designated time may result in  disqualification
Breaking this rule will result in a match overturn.

4.3 Minimum users / No Show / Forfeit:
Tournament Teams must have a minimum of four eligible users in the lobby at the designated time of your match. If not, then the Team who does not have 4 or more Players will forfeit the matches. In the event of a No Show / Forfeit, Teams are required to provide sufficient proof (screenshot of empty lobby).

4.4 Reschedules
Rescheduling of any match is not allowed in this tournament.

4.5 Smurfing
Smurfing is the use of a player who is not eligible or allowed to play a specific match (including a different user to play on a Riot account, to masquerade as a legitimate user). Smurfing is not allowed by any Team in the Tournament at any stage.

4.5 Using Non-Registered Players
Teams cannot use non-registered players; ineligible players are considered not registered. Using a player who is not registered is considered a violation and will fall under the smurfs rule. Failure to follow this rule will result in a match overturn. Consecutive breaches of the rule may result in disqualification of the Team.

4.6 Global Chat
Teams can use global chat while dead or alive during a live match for constructive purposes (i.e. communicating to Reliance Digital Gaming officials or other teams concerning an issue). Misuse of the global chat is not allowed. Team chat is allowed at any time for any reason. There is only one warning for the Team that is mis-using the Team chat or the global chat, after that admins have full rights to disqualify that Team from the tournament.

4.7 Player Connections
Player connections are solely the responsibility of the Players individually or of the Team that such Players are representing as a group.

Once a match has gone live, should a Team drop to three users in the server they have three minutes from the moment the Player leaves the server to get a fourth Player back. If the fourth Player has not entered the match within the three minutes, the Team will be required to forfeit the match. Any Teams dropping to two or one users during the match period has a total of one round to get the minimum number of users back in (see rule no. 2.12 Match Pausing). Any problems arising due to connection issues are the sole responsibility of the Players and/or the Team that such Players are representing. Administrators reserve the right to eject any Player from a server or overturn a match result if their connection has a serious impact on the game, it is the Players sole responsibility to make sure Player’s connection is acceptable to the server, congestion is not an acceptable reason for warping or lagging.

4.8. Pauses
If a Player disconnects during the game, the game must continue and will not be paused or remade. (If the game has the admin and cheats are enabled, The game can be paused during the game, but a Team must write before the countdown of the round reaches 0). A total number of 1 pause of 3 minutes will be allowed by each team during the whole match. No more than 1 pause will be allowed

4.9. Players Leaving Early
All Players are expected to remain on the server until the conclusion of the final round of the match. If an entire Team leaves the server prior to conclusion of the match, any remaining rounds will be forfeited, including the current unfinished round.
If Teams wish to lodge a dispute over the fairness of a game due to either server lag / roster issues / potential cheaters, they must remain in the game and lodge the dispute afterwards.
Breaking this rule will result in disqualification of the match, as well as possible removal from the Tournament.

4.10. Home Country/Region
A Player’s home country is the country where his main place of residence is. This tournament is applicable to the players living in India.

A Team can have Players only from India.  The Teams are therefore advised to please check the eligibility of the Players at the time of registration.

4.11. Age Restriction
Players should be 18+ to play this tournament.

4.12 Roster Lock
No Player changes will be allowed after the Team has registered for the Open Qualifiers. Teams will be required to play with the same 5+2 Roster that they have registered with the open qualifier to play the League. The details of the Roster transfer window will be shared with the Teams qualifying for the league stage separately in due course. In any case 3 of the playing members should be from Home/Country Region.

4.13 Players Agreement
The participating Teams and the Players will be required to sign a player agreement upon their qualification for the League Stage. The Participating Teams are informed that the Player Agreement will be shared with the eligible Teams in due course. In the situation where the eligible Team is unable to sign the player agreement for any reason whatsoever, the Organizers will have the sole discretion to forfeit the slot of such Team And select the next eligible Team from the open qualifiers as per the Organizers’ sole discretion.

4.14 Rule Change
The admin team reserves the right to amend, remove, or otherwise change the rules outlined in this Rulebook, without further notice. The admin team also reserves the right to make a judgment on cases that are not explicitly supported, or detailed in this Rulebook, or to make judgments that even go against this Rulebook in extreme cases, to preserve fair play and sportsmanship.

5) Code of Conduct / Unprofessional Behavior

5.1 Conduct Generally

5.1.1. High Standards for Professionals.
All Teams and Players must always observe the highest standards of personal integrity and good sportsmanship. Players are required to behave in a professional and sportsmanlike manner in their interactions with other competitors, the Tournament Organizer, the media, sponsors and fans.

5.1.2. Competitive Integrity
All Teams and Players are expected to always compete to the best of their skill and ability in any Tournament Game. Tournament organizers holds the right to penalize a Team If found guilty in any case at their discretion

5.1.3. Sanctions
A violation of these Tournament Rules will result in sanctions at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer, as discussed in greater detail below. All decisions made by the Tournament Organizer regarding violations of these Tournament Rules are final and binding.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct
Set forth below is a non-exclusive list of examples of prohibited conduct.

5.2.1 Collusion/Match Fixing
A Player will not collude. Collusion is defined as any agreement among two (2) or more players, and/or confederates to disadvantage opposing players. Collusion includes, but is not limited to, acts such as:

  • Soft play, which is defined as any agreement among two (2) or more players to not damage, impede or otherwise play to a reasonable standard of competition in a game.
  • Sending or receiving signals, electronic or otherwise, from a confederate to/from a player.
  • Pre-arranging to split prize money and/or any other form of compensation
  • Deliberately losing a game for compensation, or for any other reason, or attempting to induce another player to do so

5.2.2. Cheating
Cheating is prohibited. Any modification of the VALORANT game client by any Player, Team or other Team Member is prohibited.

5.2.3. Hacking
A Player may not hack during tournament games. Hacking is defined as any modification of the VALORANT game client by any player, or person acting on behalf of a Player.

5.2.4. Exploiting
A Player may not utilize any exploits during tournament games. Exploiting is defined as intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage. Exploiting includes, but is not
limited to, acts such as: glitches in buying items, glitches in Agent ability performance, or any other game function that, in the sole determination of officials, is not functioning as intended.

5.2.5. Ringer
A Player may not act as a ringer during a tournament game. Ringer is defined as playing under another player’s account or soliciting, inducing, encouraging or directing someone else to play under another player’s account.

5.2.6. Vulgar or Hateful Speech
A Team Member may not, during a LAN Event, Online Event, media interviewer in any communication relating to the tournament or VALORANT, use any language that is offensive, insulting, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, foul or vulgar. A Team Member may not post, transmit, disseminate any such prohibited communications. A Team Member may not use this type of language on social media ordering any public facing events or in any streaming of VALORANT. This rule applies to speech in English and all other languages. In addition, Players and Teams may not encourage members of the public to engage in any activities that are prohibited by this rule.

5.2.7. Violence
Players are expected to settle their differences in a respectful manner and without resort to violence, threats, or intimidation (physical or non-physical). Violence is never permitted at AN Event or against any competitor, fan or any tournament official.

5.2.8. Drugs and Alcohol
The use, possession, distribution or sale of controlled substances, such as drugs or alcohol, or being under the influence of such controlled substances, is strictly prohibited while Team Member is engaged in any Tournament or other event or on premises that are owned by or leased to the Tournament Organizer. The unauthorized use or possession of prescription drugs by a Team Member is prohibited. Prescription drugs may be used only by the person to whom they are prescribed and, in the manner, combination and quantity as prescribed. Prescription drugs may only be used to treat the condition for which they are prescribed and may not be used to enhance performance in a Tournament Game. Each Team Member is required to report any violation of this rule to the Tournament Organizer.

5.2.9. Gambling
Gambling on the outcome of Tournament Games (including any plays or components of a Tournament Game) can pose a serious threat to the integrity of, and public confidence in, the tournament. Players and Teams are not allowed to (i) place, or attempt to place, bets on any Tournament Games (or any plays or components thereof), or (ii) associate with high volume gamblers, or deliver information to others that might influence their bets.

5.2.10. Unauthorized Communications
At LAN Events, all communication devices must be removed from the play area before a Tournament Game begins. Players may not text/email or use social media while at the match area. During the match, communication by a player shall be limited to the other players on the Team.

5.2.11. Identity
At all public-facing Tournaments, a Player may not cover his or her face. Hats and dark glasses are not allowed during LAN Event play.

5.3. Harassment
Harassment is prohibited. Harassment is defined as systematic, hostile and repeated acts taking place over a period, or a singular egregious instance, which is/are intended to isolate or ostracize a person and/or diminish the dignity of the person.

5.4. Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is prohibited. Sexual Harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances. The assessment is based on whether the person being harassed would regard conduct as undesirable or offensive. There is zero tolerance for any sexual threats/coercion or the promise of advantages in exchange for sexual favors.

5.5. Discrimination and Denigration
Players and Teams may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigrating words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other reason.

5.6. Negative Statements
Players and Teams may not make, issue, authorize or publish any statement that is prejudicial or detrimental to the best interests of the tournament, Tournament Organizer, or its affiliates, sponsors, or VALORANT.

5.7. Confidentiality
Without consent of the Tournament Organizer, a Team Member may not disclose confidential or proprietary information provided or made available by the Tournament Organizer to the Team Member in relation to the tournament. Players and Teams shall be obligated to keep the confidential or proprietary information provided by the Tournament

Organizers are confidential and ensure that such information is not shared with any third party. The “confidential or proprietary information” of the tournament and the Tournament Organizer includes all information and materials disclosed (whether in oral, written, or other tangible or intangible form) or otherwise made available by Tournament Organizer to a Team Member concerning or related to VALORANT, the tournament which the Team Member knows or should know, given the facts and circumstances surrounding the disclosure of the information, is confidential information of Reliance Digital Gaming Or the Tournament Organizer. Confidential information includes, without limitation, development plans and release dates for updates to VALORANT, the configuration of the stage used at LAN Events and other similar information that is withheld from fans to preserve the “reveal” at an Online Event or a LAN Event.

5.8. Illegal Activity
Players are required to always comply with all applicable laws. A Team/ Player may not engage in any activity which is in violation with laws, regulations or public security administration rules.

5.9. Immoral Activity
A Team/ Player may not engage in any activity which, in the sole determination of the Tournament Organizer, is unethical, immoral or disgraceful.

6. COMMUNICATION
All communication with the Players and Teams is handled on the tournament official Discord. Any questions regarding upcoming and ongoing matches can be directed to the admin team.

7. Terms and condition to participate –

  • The Players will be solely responsible to ensure that the Team is eligible to participate in this Tournament and there is no legal binding to any third party which can hamper the Team participation in the Tournament. In the situation where the Organizers are made aware of any such legal binding by any third party, the Organizers will have the sole discretion to disqualify such a Team without any obligation or liability towards such disqualified Teams.
  • The Player and/or the Team should, to the best of their ability, disperse via social media channels information about their matches about to go live on stream and/or aired on television or OTT in accordance with the instructions provided by the Organizers. No Player and/or Team is allowed to disperse any information whatsoever with regards to the Tournament without discussion with the Organizers. Any Player or Team found to be in breach of this clause can be disqualified from the Tournament at the Organizers sole discretion.
  • The Organizers reserves the right to further extend/ revise the Tournament period and/or otherwise modify this rulebook at its sole discretion, and no communication or claim in this regard would be entertained.
  • The Player and/or the Team agrees to allow the Organizers utilize their personal/professional assets and in game statistics including but not limited to name, face, likeness, voice, biography, images, catch phrases/slogans, personal pictures, team presence for advertising usage, without any additional compensation/ royalties or any other form of payment, for all perpetuity and the purpose of promotion of the Tournament and/ or the Organizers and its affiliates. The Player and/or the Team further more agrees to be a part of all promotional activities being carried out by the Organizers for the promotion of the Tournament during the Term, subject to 3 days' notice being provided by the Organizers for the same In particular, the Player acknowledges and confirms that (s)he has read and is bound by and must comply with the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code (https://esic.gg/codes/anticorruption- code/) , the ESIC Anti-Doping Policy (https://esic.gg/codes/antidoping-code/ ) and Code Of Conduct(https://esic.gg/codes/code-of-conduct/) which apply throughout the term of this Tournament and can have serious consequences that go far beyond the terms of this event and affect his/her career as a gamer. ”In particular, the Player acknowledges and confirms that (s)he has read and is bound by and must comply with VALORANT Community Code (https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/announcements/valorant- community-code/) and Riot Terms of service (https://www.riotgames.com/en/terms- of-service) which apply throughout the Term of this Agreement and can have serious consequences that go far beyond the Term of this Agreement and affect his/her career as a gamer.

Q) Are roster changes allowed during the event?
A) No roster changes are not allowed during the whole event.

Tournament Rules

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Acceptance of Rules
By participating in the Competition, Team and Competitors accept and agree to be bound by and comply with the Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset and any Competition Specific Rules. The Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset and any Competition Specific Rules apply to all Competition places, including Competition venue, practice rooms, personal resting space, etc., and times, including official match times, practice times, personal training times, mealtimes, etc.

1.2 Spirit of The Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset
The Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset is a living document that is intended to establish and reinforce a positive and competitive environment that is defined by sportsmanship and integrity. The Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset will continually be refined and updated to reflect the rules that govern competition worldwide.

1.3 Rule Changes
Reliance Digital reserves the right to amend, remove, or make changes to the Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset or to issue any rules or regulations that apply to each applicable Competition for any reason at any time. When material changes to the Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset are made the Changelog section will be updated, and updated rules will be communicated directly to Competitors via the appropriate channels. Such communications may occur by way of example and not limitation, by releasing online postings, instructional videos, emails or texts that provide instructions and guidance to Teams and Team Representatives, who will be responsible for distributing updates and other communications relating to the rules or any other Competition-related rules to other Competitors. Administration reserves the right to make judgment on cases not specifically covered by this document to preserve the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship. Competitors are expected to understand and operate on the latest version of these rules.

2. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Players on a Team competing in the Competition, including any coaches, managers or other staff members who are alternates eligible to play, (collectively, “Players”), must adhere to the following rules in addition to any eligibility requirements defined in Competition Specific Rules to be eligible to compete in a Competition or associated matches.

2.1 Age
No Player is eligible to participate before their 18th birthday, defined as having lived 18 full years, except as may otherwise be provided in the Competition Specific Rules. For purposes of clarity, Players must be at least 18 years of age on the first day of the event to be eligible to participate.

2.2 Player Aliases
Player Aliases are subject to approval by Administration. Administration reserves the right to deny the use of a Player Alias and require a change for any reason. Player Aliases may not exceed 12 characters. Player Aliases may use any combination of uppercase and lowercase letters (A-Z), digits (0-9), underscores (_), or hyphens (-). Player Aliases may not include spaces. Player Aliases must be selected at the time of registration and may not be changed during a Competition.

Player Aliases must adhere to the following rules. Using alternative spelling to avoid compliance with the following rules is strictly prohibited.

  • Player Aliases may not include a sponsor name, or the name of any company that does not own the Team.
  • Player Aliases may not include any product or service name or description.
  • Player Aliases may not violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights of a third party.
  • Player Aliases may not include any words that are purely commercial.
  • Player Aliases may not contain vulgarities or obscenities in any way.
  • Player Aliases may not include all or part of the name BGMI or Reliance Digital or make use of any trademarks or other intellectual property of BGMI without the prior written approval of BGMI.
  • Player Aliases must comply with the Code of Conduct.

2.3 In-Game Nicknames
In-Game Nicknames are subject to approval by Administration. Administration reserves the right to deny the use of an In-Game Nickname and require a change for any reason including to ensure that the In-Game Nickname can comfortably fit within the boundaries of any in-game asset. In Game Nicknames may not exceed 16 characters.

In-Game Nicknames must adhere to the following format.

2.4 Conflict of Interest
Competitors may not be employees of Reliance Digital.

3. TEAM ELIGIBILITY
Teams must adhere to the following in addition to any eligibility requirements defined by the Competition Specific Rules to be eligible to compete in the Competition.

3.1 Team Tags
Teams are required to specify a Team Tag to be used in their players’ In-Game Nicknames. Team Tags are subject to approval by Administration. Reliance Digital reserves the right to deny the use of a Team Tag and require a change for any reason. Team Tags must be 2 to 4 characters. Team Tags may only include letters (a-Z) and digits (0-9). Team Tags may not use spaces, underscores (_), or hyphens (-). Team Tags for all Teams competing in a Competition must be unique globally. Team Tags must adhere to the Code of Conduct.

3.2 Team Names
Reliance Digital reserves the right to deny the use of a Team Name and require a change for any reason. Team Names will be selected at the time of registration and may not be changed during any Competition without the prior written approval of the Administration.
In addition:

  • Team names may not include the name of any company that does not own the Team.
  • Team names may not include any product or service name or description.
  • Team names may not violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights of a third party.
  • Team names may not include any words that are purely commercial.
  • Team names may not contain vulgarities or obscenities in any way.
  • Team names may not include all or part of the name BGMI or Reliance Digital or make use of any trademarks or other intellectual property of Reliance Digital without the prior written approval of Reliance Digital.
  • Team names must comply with the Code of Conduct.
  • While creating a team on JioGames app, special characters are now allowed therefore  keep team name simple and easily identifiable.

If there are two or more teams that request to use the same Team name or Team tag, priority will be given to the Team based on the following:

  • The Team who first participated (based on participation date) in the local Reliance Digital official esports tournament reserves the right to use the contested Team name and/or Team tag.
  • If the first condition is the same for two or more of the requesting Teams, the Team who first participated (based on participation date) in the global esports tournament reserves the right to use the Team name and/or Team tag.
  • In the case where a Team tag closely represents an established entity’s IP, Reliance Digital reserves the right to force one or more of the teams to change their Team tag.

3.3 Native Roster Requirements
Each team roster must consist of Players who are legal citizens or permanent residents of India. For the purpose of this section, legal citizenship and/or permanent residency are defined per the laws of each corresponding country. To provide further clarification, if the regional roster rules allow for four (4) members, then all 4 members must be legal citizens or permanent residents.

3.4 Roster Rules
As the Competitions will be conducted online, the Roster Rules will be a mix of BGMI Ruleset and Reliance Digital Ruleset. Each team roster must comply with the following rules.
1. Team rosters for any Competition must be the same as the team roster that competed in the qualifying event for the Competition or that otherwise qualified or was selected for the Competition.
2. Upon qualification or selection for the Competition, the team roster cannot be changed under any circumstances.
3. The maximum substitutes allowed due to emergency situations, is two (2). In situations where even after having two (2) substitutes the required number of players are not available, the team will be considered disqualified.
4. Each Team must designate one individual as its representative when completing the registration process (“Team Representative”). The Team Representative will be responsible for all team communications with Administration. Administration may rely upon any communications from the Team Representative as being made by all owners or Players of the team. A Team may not change its Team Representative during any Competition without Administration’s prior written approval.

3.5 Conflict of Interest
Team owners, staff members, or representatives may not be employees of Reliance Digital.

3.6 Team Ownership
A team’s Slot or right to participation within a Competition will be owned by the team. In the situation where the team is owned by a corporate entity, that corporate entity will be the owner of the Slot. In the case where the team is player owned, i.e. a group of players who join together to form their own team, the Team Representative will be considered the owner for Team Ownership and/or roster rule purposes.

3.7 Multiple Team Ownership
To preserve the integrity of the Competition, the following rules apply to any individual, entity or group that owns, operates, controls, or has an interest in a team that is competing in Competition.
1. An individual, entity or group cannot directly or indirectly own or operate more than one team globally.
2. An individual, entity or group cannot directly or indirectly participate in the financing, operation, marketing, or management of more than one team globally.
3. No two teams can operate under the same brand or team name or variations of the same brand or team name in more than one team globally.
4. No two individuals, entities or groups that own, operate, control, or have an interest in two different teams can enter into a business or financial relationship with a common interest that can directly or indirectly benefit both parties based on performance in the competition.

3.8 Notice of Extraordinary Events
Team owner or Team Representative shall notify Reliance Digital and Administration as soon as practicable of any suspected or actual breach of the Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset by the Team or any of its Competitors.

3.9 Sponsorships
To preserve the integrity of Competition and the reputation of Reliance Digital and BGMI, neither a team nor any Players shall enter into any sponsorship, endorsement, advertising or similar agreement or relationship to promote drugs and drug paraphernalia, tobacco products, cannabis products, gambling or casinos, alcohol, pornography, any business that promotes the use of in-game hacks, cheats, exploits, skins gambling, or in-game currency farming, any product or service prohibited by applicable law, any competitor of Reliance Digital or its affiliates, any games that are not published by Reliance Digital or its affiliates, and any esports leagues, tournaments or events, other than Competitions, or any business or person offering any of the foregoing. A list of prohibited product or service categories may be updated from time to time by Reliance Digital or Administration. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if requested by Reliance Digital or Administration, during Competition Competitors must use items featuring the official Competition sponsors in any events that are part of the Competition, for example in matches using the computer hardware of the official hardware sponsor of the Competition.

4. CODE OF CONDUCT
Competitors must always abide by the following Code of Conduct. By participating in the Competition, Competitors agree to abide by these rules and any instructions or decisions of Administration and conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner.

4.1 Best Ability
Competitors must always attempt to compete at their best ability and use their best effort during any match and avoid any behavior that is inconsistent with principles of sportsmanship, honesty, integrity, and fair play.

4.2 Collusion, i.e., Teaming, and Match-Fixing
Competitors shall not participate in any act of collusion or match-fixing. Collusion, also referred to as Teaming, is defined as any agreement between two or more Competitors to cheat, deceive, or disadvantage opposing Competitors. Collusion includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Agreeing to any ruleset outside of the official rules
  • Worsening performance or losing a match or encouraging another Competitor to do so
  • Deliberately losing for any reason or encouraging another Competitor to do so
  • Pre-arranging the splitting of prize money or any other form of compensation
  • Sending or receiving any signals or messaging to opposing Competitors
  • Cooperation of one or more teams together during Competitions or practice matches for any reason, including but not limited to, attempting to effect qualifications and/or final standings, trolling, etc.
    Match-fixing is defined as offering, agreeing, conspiring, or influencing the outcome of any match by means that are prohibited by law or these rules. The determination of whether a Team(s) action can be considered Collusion, Teaming and/or Match-Fixing is at the sole discretion of the Administration, as is the appropriate punishment.

4.3 Betting and Gambling
Competitors shall not participate in any act of betting or gambling related to Reliance Digital & BGMI. Betting is defined as the act of wagering money (cash, cash equivalent, credit of monetary value, or any other monetary instrument) on the outcome of a match or other component of a Competition or other BGMI competition. Competitors must never place, attempt to place, or encourage the placement of bets on any match. No Competitor may benefit directly or indirectly from gambling on any result of any matches or the Competition as a whole, or another competition as a whole.

4.4 Bribery
Competitors shall not participate in any act of bribery. Bribery is defined as the act of offering compensation or anything else of value to influence the judgment or conduct of a person. Competitors must never offer or receive any form of compensation to or from another Competitor or any other person to attempt to gain or give an unfair advantage in the Competition.

4.5 Exploiting and Hacking
Competitors shall not participate in any act of exploiting or hacking. Exploiting is defined as the use of an in-game bug or glitch in a manner not intended by the designers to seek an unfair advantage. Hacking is defined as any modification of hardware, software, game client, or internet connection.

4.6 Cheating
Competitors shall not cheat by using any kind of device, program, or any other method or activity that may gain or give an unfair advantage.

4.7 Ringing
Competitors shall not participate in any act of ringing. Ringing is defined as playing under another Competitor’s account.

4.8 Intentional Disconnects
Competitors shall not intentionally disconnect from a match by any action (e.g., quitting the match, turning off Mobile, unplugging ethernet cable, etc.). Any action from a Competitor that causes a disconnect shall be deemed intentional regardless of the intent.

4.9 Profanity and Hate Speech
Competitors shall not use language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, or otherwise offensive. Competitors shall not engage in or incite hatred or discriminatory conduct.

4.10 Disruptive and Abusive Behavior
Competitors shall not take any action or perform any gesture which is insulting, mocking, disruptive, or antagonistic. A Competition may be conducted and broadcast in any country and include Teams from any country. Competitors are responsible for being aware of the sensitivities of the cultures of the hosting country, countries broadcast to, the participating Teams and Competitors, with regards to avoiding any comments, actions or activities that may be reasonably constituted as insulting, mocking, disruptive, or antagonistic. All determinations of any disruptive or abusive behavior are at the sole discretion of the Administration

4.11 Intentional Delaying of or Interfering with the Conduct of the Competition
Competitors shall not intentionally delay or interfere with the conduct of the Competition through any means, including:

  • Attempting to acquire tournament related information through informal means.
  • Interfering with the execution of a match or the duties of tournament participants, including the Administration, Competitors, etc.
  • Any other acts that are considered to have delayed or interfered with a match.

The determination of whether a Competitor and/or Team(s) action can be considered in violation of this Section 4.18 is at the sole discretion of the Administration, as is the appropriate punishment.

4.12 Harassment and Sexual Harassment
Competitors shall not participate in any act of harassment. Harassment can include systematic, hostile, and repeated acts which are intended to isolate or ostracize a person and/or affect the dignity of a person. Unwelcome sexual advances of any kind are strictly prohibited.

4.13 Discrimination and Denigration
Competitors shall not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, person, or group of people through contemptuous or discriminatory words or actions based on race, ethnicity, national origin, social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion, financial status, birth status, sexual orientation, or any other reason.

4.14 Criminal Activity
Competitors shall not engage in any activity which is prohibited by common law, statute, or treaty and which leads to or may be reasonably deemed likely to lead to conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction.

4.15 Confidentiality
Competitors shall not disclose any confidential information by any method of communication including all social media channels. All communication with Administration is strictly confidential. The publication of such material without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.

4.16 Concluding the Competition
Upon initiating participation in a Competition, Teams and Competitors shall continue to participate in the Competition to its conclusion. Teams and Competitors shall not refuse to participate in the Competition for any reason including, without limitation, disagreement with a decision by Administration, an accusation regarding competitive integrity of the Competition, or imperfect playing conditions.

5. BROADCASTS

5.1 Ownership of Broadcasts
1. Reliance Digital (or its licensors) shall exclusively own all right, title, and interest, including all related intellectual property rights, in and to the Game, any esports program that features the Game, the Competition, all copyrightable materials or trademark rights related to the Competition, including without limitation any websites, marketing collateral, logos or trademarks, or any designs for any of the foregoing (excluding the unmodified trademarks of Team and Likeness of Competitors if incorporated or used therein), and any suggestions, ideas, enhancement requests, feedback, recommendations or other information provided by Team or Competitors relating to the foregoing.
2. Reliance Digital (and its licensors, where applicable) shall exclusively own all right, title and interest, including all related intellectual property rights, in and to any broadcasts of the Competition.

5.2 Competitors Likeness
By participating, each Competitor grants Reliance Digital the right to use such Competitor’s Likeness for publicity purposes, including without limitation broadcast of the Competition, creation of other content from broadcasts or related to the Competition and BGMI esports or from the Competition content (by way of example and not limitation, in highlights and editorial coverage) and for marketing the Competition, Reliance Digital and BGMI esports (“Publicize”). Competitor grants Reliance Digital and Administration all necessary rights to use any name, in-game nickname, sobriquet, physical likeness (including but not limited to the voice, actions, likeness (actual or simulated), picture, photograph, silhouette, appearance), biographical information, game play statistics, and/or BGMI account ID of any Competitor (collectively, “Likeness”), for Publicity purposes prior to, during, or after the completion of Competition, in any media, throughout the world, in perpetuity, in connection with Publicizing the Competition, without any compensation or prior approval unless specifically prohibited by any applicable law.

5.3 Broadcasts by Competitors
Teams and Competitors will not broadcast the Competition or any matches or portions thereof without advance written permission of Reliance Digital.

6. CONDUCT VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
Competitors who fail to abide by these official rules or Code of Conduct may be subject to penalties, fines, suspensions, or bans as deemed necessary and appropriate by Reliance Digital.

Reliance Digital reserves the right to investigate any instance in which a rule may be violated. Competitors shall not withhold information from Administration during an investigation. During an investigation, Competitors must adhere to the instructions of Administration and supply complete and accurate information. Competitors shall never create any obstruction to an investigation.

6.1 Issuance of Penalties
Reliance Digital reserves the right to issue, without limitation of its authority, penalties at its sole discretion upon discovery of any conduct or rule violations in accordance with the severity of the infraction. Repeated infractions may result in more severe consequences. Penalties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Verbal and/or written caution(s) and warning(s)
  • Fine(s) and/or deduction(s) of prize money
  • Forfeiture(s) of match(es)
  • Disqualification(s)
  • Suspension(s) or Ban(s)

6.2 Publication of Penalties
Reliance Digital reserves the right to publish any information regarding any violation of these official rules or Code of Conduct. By participating in the Competition, Teams and Competitors hereby waive any right to legal action against Administration, its Affiliates, or other Teams and Competitors regarding the issuing and publishing of penalties. Reliance Digital’ determination as to the appropriate penalties will be final and binding and by participating in the Competition each Team and Competitors waive any right to bring a claim in court for Reliance Digital’ decision or any remedies thereof.

7 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1 No Consequential Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reliance Digital,any of their respective affiliates, partners, sponsors, service providers, suppliers, officers, directors, managers, members, employees, representatives, agents or licensors (collectively, the “Reliance Digital Parties”), shall be liable in any way for any loss of profits or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, arising out of or in connection with the Standard and Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Ruleset, any Competitions, or the delay or inability to use or lack of functionality of the Game, even if a Reliance Digital Party is at fault and even if a Reliance Digital Party is aware of the possibility of such damages.

7.2 Limitation on Liability
Reliance Digital Parties shall not be liable for: (i) internet, telephone system, telephone, or computer hardware, software, or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (ii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Competition; or (iv) any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials associated with the Competition.

7.3 Disclaimer of Warranties
RELIANCE DIGITAL PARTIES DO NOT GUARANTEE CONTINUOUS, ERROR-FREE, VIRUS-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION OF OR ACCESS TO THE GAME. THE GAME AND THE COMPETITION ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS BASIS, AND THE RELIANCE DIGITAL PARTIES DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, COMMON LAW DUTIES, AND REPRESENTATIONS (EXPRESS, IMPLIED, ORAL, AND WRITTEN), WITH RESPECT TO THE GAME AND THE COMPETITION AND ANY MATERIALS OR INFORMATION PROVIDED TO TEAM OR COMPETITORS IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION, OR ANY PART THEREOF, INCLUDING ANY AND ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING THOSE OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS OR SUITABILITY FOR ANY PURPOSE (WHETHER OR NOT ANY RELIANCE DIGITAL PARTY KNOWS, HAS REASON TO KNOW, HAS BEEN ADVISED, OR IS IN FACT AWARE OF ANY SUCH PURPOSE), LACK OF NEGLIGENCE, AND LACK OF VIRUSES, WHETHER ALLEGED TO ARISE UNDER LAW, BY REASON OF CUSTOM OR USAGE IN THE TRADE, OR COURSE OF DEALING. THIS PARAGRAPH WILL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. INTERPRETATIONS
In the event of any conflict between SUPER and the Competition Specific Rules, SUPER shall prevail except to the extent specifically stated otherwise in the Competition Specific Rules. Competitors are subject to the Rules not only during the Competition and while on-camera. Competitors may be required to accept additional terms from Administration or RELIANCE DIGITAL to participate in the Competition. Any matters relating to Competition or Reliance Digital that are not covered by SUPER or any additional rules or agreement regarding the Competition or Reliance Digital shall be subject to an interpretation made by the RELIANCE DIGITAL or Administration and provided to the Teams from time to time in the form of an update to, or interpretation of, SUPER. RELIANCE DIGITAL or Administration’s determination thereof will be final and binding. RELIANCE DIGITAL has the authority to take actions in the best interests of the Competition, Reliance Digital and BGMI esports.

9. COMMUNICATION
All communication with the Players and Teams is handled on the tournament official Discord. Any questions regarding upcoming and ongoing matches can be directed to the admin team.

Terms and condition to participate –

  • The Players will be solely responsible to ensure that the Team is eligible to participate in this Tournament and there is no legal binding to any third party which can hamper the Team participation in the Tournament. In the situation where the Organizers are made aware of any such legal binding by any third party, the Organizers will have the sole discretion to disqualify such a Team without any obligation or liability towards such disqualified Teams.
  • The Player and/or the Team should, to the best of their ability, disperse via social media channels information about their matches about to go live on stream and/or aired on television or OTT in accordance to the instructions provided by the Organizers. No Player and/or Team is allowed to disperse any information whatsoever with regards to the Tournament without discussion with the Organizers. Any Player or Team found to be in breach of this clause can be disqualified from the Tournament at the Organizers sole discretion.
  • The Organizers reserves the right to further extend/ revise the Tournament period and/or otherwise modify this rulebook at its sole discretion, and no communication or claim in this regard would be entertained.
  • The Player and/or the Team agrees to allow the Organizers utilize their personal/professional assets and in game statistics including but not limited to name, face, likeness, voice, biography, images, catch phrases/slogans, personal pictures, team presence for advertising usage, without any additional compensation/ royalties or any other form of payment, for all perpetuity and the purpose of promotion of the Tournament and/ or the Organizers and its affiliates. The Player and/or the Team further more agrees to be a part of all promotional activities being carried out by the Organizers for the promotion of the Tournament during the Term, subject to 3 days' notice being provided by the Organizers for the same In particular, the Player acknowledges and confirms that (s)he has read and is bound by and must comply with the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code (https://esic.gg/codes/anticorruption- code/) , the ESIC Anti-Doping Policy (https://esic.gg/codes/antidoping-code/ ) and Code Of Conduct(https://esic.gg/codes/code-of-conduct/) which apply throughout the term of this Tournament and can have serious consequences that go far beyond the terms of this event and affect his/her career as a gamer. ”In particular, the Player acknowledges and confirms that  BGMI Terms of service (https://www.battlegroundsmobileindia.com/terms) which apply throughout the Term of this Agreement and can have serious consequences that go far beyond the Term of this Agreement and affect his/her career as a gamer.

10. Disqualification

  • To keep tournaments as efficient as possible, we reserve the right to disqualify teams. This will only be done in cases where a team intentionally stalls or attempts to block the tournament from starting.
  • Management will Request for POV Recording of any player, at any point of time. if not provided, Management reserves the rights on taking decisions for any suspicious activities.
  • Usage of Game Guardian, GFX TOOLs and/or other 3rd party apps that enhance, add, modify, or remove game appearance, color, or files, is strictly prohibited during this tournament.
    Intentionally changing your character's angle to look through a texture or object is prohibited.
    The intentional use of any bugs, glitches, or errors in the game is strictly forbidden and will lead to Disqualification of the team. Any team found to be using known exploits will be removed from the tournament and barred from all future ones as well.
    All Details provided should be valid, if caught using fake documents or identity or Address for registration will be banned.
    Should a team/player fail to join the room in given time, their squad/they will be Disqualified or given 0 points for it based on Administrative decision.

Q) Are roster changes allowed during the event?
A) No roster changes are not allowed during the whole event. 

Q)  How many players are required in a team to play the tournament?
A) Minimum 3 players should be required in a team to play a match. In case a team doesn’t have 3 or more players in a match, that team will have to forfeit. 

Q) From which round cash prizes are given?
A) Cash Prizes will be given from Round 2

Q) How will the teams receive lobby details?
