I didn't find any difficulty using this product. Its a nice product. there are 2 reasons why it goes to warm mode from cook. 1. when it doesn't has much weight - so cover up the lid. 2. when something gets sticked to the inner surface- you can brush it off with spatula and shift to cook mode
